Three Ships Dream Bio-Retinol + Shorea Butter Night Cream
THE PRODUCT: A creamy textured night cream that works to encourage skin cell turnover and even out skin tone, leaving your skin feeling softer and smoother overnight. The key? A super gentle, plant-based retinol from Picão Preto – a medicinal herb that’s native to Brazil.
Bio-Retinol: A safe, stable, plant-based alternative to retinoids for the treatment of aging skin. Extracted from a flower native to the South America, this bio-retinol is great for sensitive skin and great to use with other products
Shorea Butter: A type of seed butter that is rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, but has a light-weight and moisturizing feel on the skin. This butter is just as moisturizing as shea butter without being as heavy.
Squalane: By topical application of squalane, helps to support and replenish the skin's native lipid barrier and in turn, prevent dryness and provide some protection to the skin against external irritants and pollutants.
HOW TO USE:
Massage one pump of cream into clean, dry skin each night after cleansing/water serums. Let absorb for 2 minutes before applying oil serums.
If used once per day, the average customer re-purchases a bottle after 3 months.
Test on a patch of skin before applying to the face. Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients
GOOD TO KNOW:
Dream can be used day and night. Based on studies done, the bio-retinol was exposed to UV radiation as a test to measure if the bio-retinol would degrade, but in fact, it protected the skin from photo-ageing similar to how antioxidants protect the skin. However, it is still recommended that Dream be used at night, to allow the bio-retinol to do its work uninhibited.
Dream is fragrance-free. Any scent detected is from an ingredient in the formulation.
Dream and a retinol serum can be used in conjunction together. However, for those who have sensitive skin, please incorporate the retinol serum slowly, by using it once a week to see how your skin responds to the retinol, before increasing the frequency of use.
