Conventional glycolic acid products can be drying and irritating but Consonant's Maximum Glycolic Meta Serum is formulated to be the perfect mix of hydration and functional exfoliation. It uses custom blend of four unique botanical extracts soothe skin to minimize irritation, and help protect against dryness. The result is a clinically proven, high-performance serum. 

TO USE:

PM: After cleansing, dry skin and apply 1-2 pumps of the Maximum Glycolic Meta Serum to face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the eye area.

Some tingling is normal. Allow to dry, and follow with a serum like the Consonant HydrExtreme® and your favourite moisturizer. 

People occasionally experience the odd breakout when first using the serum as skin decongests. It's recommended to continue using as this typically passes quickly and more clear skin is revealed!

Seanna's Tip: If you're new to alpha hydroxy acids, first test the glycolic acid on a small patch of skin (behind the ear or lower jawline is a good place). Discontinue if a reaction occurs. If there's no reaction, try using the glycolic acid 1x per week first, and work up to 2-3 x per week. Always use alpha hydroxy acids at night time because they can make your skin more sensitive in the sunlight. Wear an SPF during the day like Consonant's Perfect Sunscreen.
